The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) provides high-quality care to patients. We pride ourselves on being a community-focused hospital.
TQEH is a 355 bed, acute and sub-acute care teaching hospital that provides inpatient, outpatient, emergency and mental health services to a population of more than 250,000 people living primarily in Adelaide’s western suburbs.
TQEH is part of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), South Australia’s largest health network, with sites and services covering almost 30% of the population.
CALHN is the largest of all the local health networks in South Australia, with more than 15,000 employees across the state.
As a central part of the South Australian health system, CALHN's executive team and clinicians work closely with colleagues across the state in other local health networks.
